Butter Cloche — a handmade butter keeper for the countertop.
Created entirely by hand in my home studio on the Mornington Peninsula. Made from white speckled stoneware, this little dome is a unique and different from the rest.
The glaze is one of my favourites — layers of pearly blue and speckled white. The glaze application creates different dimension in places, soft and satin.
It features a low wide and round dish, with a domed lid and a pinched handle. It doesn’t require water.
Features:
• Clay: Speckled stoneware
• Glaze: Forget me Not blue - a gorgeous pastel blue and Pyrite White- speckled and creamy.
• Approx size: ∼12-13cm wide x 8-9cm tall (fits a standard 250g block, cut to fit)
• Food safe, dishwasher safe — handwash recommended
• One of a kind, small variations are part of the handmade character
